Amy Jo Vanden Brink

I have been involved in music for most of my life.  When I was 6 my parents arranged piano lessons with a friend of theirs.  This led to many years of exams through Royal Conservatory, participation in Red Deer’s Kiwanis Festival, playing piano in church, playing piano for high school choirs and beyond!

When I went away to University, I started in the Education program, but quickly realized that I missed studying music.  Now, through Music for Young Children, I have a way to combine both my love for educating children, and my love for music.  I have really enjoyed teaching over 300 students since I graduated from University in 2007.   I love the programs that we offer at Walters Music Studio, and I believe that all children should enjoy their musical education!

For more information about me, my current schedule and costs, please go to my MYC website and have a peek around!
