Elisa Voth

Since the age of five, I have had an irrepressible love of music. If there was a piano around, my parents could hardly keep me from playing it. Since then, I have pursued my passion for music with dedication and perseverance.

I love teaching children and have been doing so since the age of 15.I look forward to working at Walters Music Studio and getting the opportunity to meet you and teach your children.

Growing up, I thoroughly enjoyed my weekly piano lessons and was an enthusiastic participant in countless recitals and festivals. While in high school, I completed my Grade 10 RCM in piano. I am currently in my fourth year of a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at the Kings University. I have received a number of awards.

I believe that everyone is born with the ability to create and enjoy music. I am eager to help others express and discover themselves in music, while increasing their skill at the piano. There is a quote by the philosopher, Plato, which neatly sums up my convictions about music:

Music gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and happiness to life and everything -Plato

When I am not teaching or practicing, I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially fishing with my dad. I am also frequently found baking up a storm in the kitchen or with my nose in a book.
